Tuesday afternoon, a tractor-trailer went through a barrier and halfway down an embankment at Beaver St. on I-95 in Jacksonville.
The accident happened after the semi collided with two cars and hurtled off the interstate.
According to News4Jax:
The drivers of the cars and one passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash, which was reported about 1:15 p.m. The semi driver, who is from Greensboro, N.C., was not hurt, troopers said.
The accident caused the southbound lanes on 95 to close. The wreckers were able to get the rig off the embankment and the interstate was opened back up by 4 p.m.
