Pitch/info to carriers (organize and focus better)

You may have heard about or even used “dispatchers” from the many dispatching service companies out there. They can be a useful/beneficial to certain trucking companies/ carriers that don’t want or need the full trucking company building that Trucker Country Logistics provides. (For more information, check out the chart below for a comparison of what we provide versus what dispatching services provide (or DON’T provide).

Working directly with shippers and brokers helps us to get loads before they even hit the load boards. This could mean finding consistent (possibly even dedicated) freight to develop your lanes
“Your goal is to build your entire carrier fleet around just a few shippers!”
Why? It’s the easiest way to develop lanes, get to know shipper, etc.

Run how YOU want to run..
Getting home is your priority.
Every few days? Weekly?
Running over the road, variety, changing conditions, and money.
Want the best of both worlds?

When we first start working with you…
Rates will usually be lower
Lanes could be erratic or non existent
But later…
Consistent or dedicated lanes
Better freight rates

Don’t trust random dispatching services who are not legal or qualified to create lanes or find loads for you. You don’t want just another hand in your pocket or someone who doesn’t have your best interest at heart!

We help build trucking companies. Period.

Why would you want to work with us?

Questions and Ideas (random)

Before we can begin dispatching/brokering/ TC Logistics, we need…
Home base (PA? Philly?)
THEN create C Corp

Ideas
Buy/Lease trailers, then rent by the load to our/any carriers without their own trailers.
Signs/Advertising TC/TCL/Our services on our leased/rented trailers.

Possible Trucking Podcast Conversation

November 2020
Hi Jim,

I work for TNCRadio.Live in Houston. We are a streaming radio station that caters to commercial drivers with – especially truckers. We are expanding our trucker lineup and recently launched The Truckers Network Radio Show. We are reaching listeners in numerous states with that show, not just Houston. I am interested in interviewing you as well as the possibility of carrying your content on our station. We are co-branding with an organization in Kentucky that has been in the transportation industry for decades.

We would love to feature your content as podcasts on our station that we or you could produce. You have some great information on your site. Our station has seasoned, award-winning broadcasters who have been in the Houston market for years. Would you like to schedule a call with us to discuss how we could work together? We are very excited about our effort and want to offer truckers the widest variety of information and entertainment designed just for them. You can learn more about our station at www.tncradio.live. Our listenership has grown by over 2,000 percent since our launch in July. We are growing and would like to have you on board with that momentum. I have attached a media kit for your review as well.

I look forward to your feedback.  Best regards,

Shelley M. Johnson

Jim:

Was it the content on Trucker Country or our premium testing on Trucker Country University,  or perhaps TruckingMadeEasy.com that you were interested in?

Shelley:
Thank you so much for getting back with me. We would be interested in all three. We are expanding our trucker podcast lineup and would love to have you on board. Our trucker listeners are in a multi-state area. Is there a time you would like to schedule a call with our managing partner Tom Kelley and me to discuss what works for you and how we could work together? I look forward to your feedback.

Shelley:
I just wanted to check back with you. We are gaining a whole lot of interest with listeners in multiple states with our trucker programming. On Friday, when we interviewed Long Haul Paul, trucker/songwriter, we had listeners in a whole bunch of states.

I would love to add your content to our expanded trucker lineup. Had you given that any thought as to which of your programs you would like us to air?

Thanks so much. I look forward to your feedback. Best regards, Shelley.

Additional:
Are you interested in doing a podcast on CDL training or information you would think would be of interest to drivers and potential drivers? We are putting together custom content for truckers. Our audience is in a multi-state area. Feel free to do some brainstorming on topics you think might work.
