Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver

RJ Schinner Co., a family-owned national redistributor, is seeking a safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support wholesale distribution of paper, packaging, and janitorial products. In this role, you’ll complete regional routes from our warehouse, safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver palletized freight to distributor customers. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, secure and accurate loading/unloading (using lift gates and pallet jacks), maintaining DOT-compliant logs, and providing courteous, on-time deliveries. You’ll join a stable, growth-oriented team that values reliability, accountability, and long-term relationships with both customers and employees. Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional delivery routes Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations Load, secure, and unload palletized freight using lift gates and pallet jacks Verify orders, paperwork, and delivery accuracy with customers Maintain accurate, up-to-date driver logs and delivery documentation Follow all DOT, company safety, and compliance procedures Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers Report vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly Support warehouse team with staging or loading when needed Represent RJ Schinner’s customer-focused culture on every route Class A CDL truck operation DOT regulations and compliance Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance checks Freight loading, securing, and unloading Use of pallet jacks and lift gates Electronic or paper driver log management Route planning and time management Bill of lading and delivery documentation Customer service and communication Safety and hazard awareness Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean MVR and ability to meet DOT driving requirements DOT medical certification Experience with pallet jacks, lift gates, and warehouse loading equipment
