Hazardous Materials Truck Driver – Environmental Services (Class A CDL)

Clean Harbors seeks a safety-focused Class A Driver to support environmental and industrial service operations. In this role, you will transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste, complete DOT-compliant pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate manifests and logs. You’ll follow strict safety and environmental procedures, operate loading and unloading equipment, and use proper PPE at all times. Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to disposal and recycling facilities Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety standards Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and other regulatory documentation Follow all environmental, safety, and spill response procedures while handling materials Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and facility personnel regarding routes and schedules Assist with loading and unloading materials using proper equipment and PPE Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors Maintain a clean, organized tractor and trailer and represent Clean Harbors professionally on customer sites CDL Class A driving DOT compliance Hazardous materials handling Tanker and/or hazmat operations Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Logbook and manifest documentation Safe loading and unloading procedures Use of PPE and safety equipment Route planning and time management Basic mechanical aptitude Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record per DOT standards HAZMAT endorsement preferred or ability to obtain Tanker endorsement preferred or ability to obtain Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
