Front Load CDL Truck Driver – Waste Collection

Waste Connections is hiring a Front Load CDL Driver to provide safe, reliable commercial waste collection and transport. In this on-site role, you will operate front load trucks on established routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, following DOT and company safety standards, and ensuring accurate, timely service. You’ll interact professionally with customers, document loads, report maintenance needs, and support environmental stewardship. Operate front load CDL truck on assigned commercial waste collection routes Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures Collect, load, and transport non-hazardous waste to designated facilities Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch regarding route issues or delays Document loads, route completions, and any incidents or service exceptions Report equipment and maintenance needs promptly to supervisors or shop personnel Maintain clean, safe vehicle and work practices to support environmental stewardship Assist teammates and adapt to route or schedule changes as needed Participate in required safety meetings and ongoing training for skill and career growth CDL truck operation Front load refuse equipment operation Route navigation and optimization Pre/post trip inspections Defensive driving Hydraulic systems operation Basic vehicle maintenance DOT regulation compliance Load securement Two-way radio and handheld device use Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement Clean driving record meeting DOT requirements Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen Knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations
