You’ll handle securement, tarping, and inspections while maintaining DOT-compliant logs and delivering on time. Operate CDL A flatbed trucks safely to transport freight across assigned routes Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads in compliance with DOT and company standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations and policies Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and shop personnel Manage on-time pickups and deliveries while maximizing mileage and hours of service Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned equipment Represent Decker Truck Line professionally with customers and the public CDL A truck driving Flatbed load securement Tarping and load protection DOT/FMCSA compliance Electronic logging systems (ELDs) Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Trip planning and time management Defensive driving Customer communication Freight documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record meeting DOT requirements Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations Flatbed load securement and tarping experience preferred Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
