Heyl Truck Lines is hiring a Dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to haul dry van freight for a stable, family-owned carrier. In this role, you’ll run consistent, dedicated routes, focusing on safe, on-time deliveries for major shippers. Operate late-model equipment, perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate ELD and DOT-compliant logs. You’ll communicate professionally with dispatch, uphold strict safety standards, and represent Heyl’s values of integrity, reliability, and respect while enjoying strong pay, benefits, and predictable home time within a close-knit team culture. Operate CDL A tractor-trailer on dedicated dry van routes safely and efficiently Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight for assigned customers Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate, DOT-compliant logs using ELD systems Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Secure and handle freight to prevent damage and ensure load integrity Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with shop personnel Represent Heyl Truck Lines professionally on the road and at customer sites Support a culture of safety, reliability, and respect within the team CDL Class A truck operation Safe driving & accident avoidance FMCSA/DOT compliance Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Trip planning & time management Dry van freight handling Vehicle inspection & basic maintenance Hazmat handling (preferred) Route navigation & GPS use Load securement Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record (MVR) DOT Medical Card FMCSA safety compliance Hazmat endorsement (preferred) Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred)
