CDL Roll-Off Truck Driver

GFL Environmental is seeking a CDL Roll Off Driver to safely operate heavy trucks for the pickup, transport, and disposal of waste and recyclables. In this essential frontline role, you’ll run assigned routes, deliver and pick up roll-off containers at commercial, industrial, and construction sites, and ensure materials are properly contained and documented. You’ll conduct pre/post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, interact professionally with customers, and support a clean, compliant work environment. Operate CDL roll-off trucks to pick up, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclables Complete assigned daily routes safely and on time Deliver, place, and pick up roll-off containers at customer sites Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance checks Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies Secure loads and verify proper containment of materials Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation Communicate professionally with dispatch, operations, and customers Report equipment issues, route hazards, or service concerns promptly Support a clean, environmentally compliant work area and represent GFL’s safety-first culture CDL commercial driving Roll-off truck operation DOT compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance Load securement Route navigation and time management Hydraulic equipment operation Safety protocols and PPE use Customer service Basic recordkeeping and logs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class B or higher with air brake endorsement Clean driving record meeting DOT requirements Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and local waste hauling regulations Ability to operate roll-off trucks and related hydraulic equipment Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
