CDL Class A Flatbed & Curtain-Side Truck Driver

Leavitts is hiring CDL A Truck Drivers for specialized flatbed and curtain-side freight across the western U.S. Based out of Springfield and Medford, you’ll haul lumber and building products with a strong focus on safety and professionalism. Drivers run regional and long‑haul routes with modern, well‑maintained equipment, regular freight, and predictable lanes. You’ll secure and tarp loads, complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and follow all DOT regulations. Safely operate CDL A tractor‑trailer for regional and long‑haul flatbed and curtain-side routes Haul lumber, building products, and other flatbed freight across the western United States Secure, tarp, and inspect loads to ensure safe, compliant transport Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and document findings Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and delivery documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned equipment and trailers CDL Class A truck operation Flatbed load securement Tarping and cargo protection DOT and FMCSA compliance Defensive driving Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Electronic logging devices (ELD) usage Trip planning and time management Regional and long‑haul driving Customer communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record meeting DOT and company standards Current DOT medical card Flatbed and load securement experience preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS rules
