As a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver on a Walmart account, you complete two daily trips from Southern California distribution centers to stores in CA, NV, and AZ, often including Reno and Las Vegas. You haul dry van and refrigerated freight using newer automatic sleeper tractors, averaging about 1,175 miles weekly. The operation runs 24/7 with weekend and holiday work; drivers typically run close to 70 hours per week then reset at home. You follow all safety, HOS, and company policies while providing reliable, on-time deliveries. Drive Class A tractor-trailer on dedicated routes from Walmart distribution centers to regional stores Complete two trips per day with backhauls to the originating distribution centers when scheduled Operate dry van and refrigerated trailers safely, including temperature-sensitive loads Follow FMCSA hours-of-service rules and accurately maintain ELD and trip documentation Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report or address equipment issues Plan and maintain on-time delivery and pickup schedules across CA, NV, and AZ Communicate effectively with dispatch, store personnel, and yard staff Adhere to company and customer safety, security, and operating policies Tractor-trailer operation Route planning and time management FMCSA hours-of-service compliance Electronic Logging Device (ELD) use Coupling and uncoupling trailers Backing and docking maneuvers Pre-trip and post-trip inspections Cargo securement and temperature control Defensive driving Communication with dispatch and customers Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A CDL Clean driving record
