As a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver on the Walmart account, you complete two daily trips from Southern California distribution centers to stores across CA, NV, and AZ, returning to the DC with backhauls. You operate late-model automatic sleeper tractors with dry van and refrigerated trailers on a 24/7 schedule, typically running close to a 70-hour work week followed by a 34-hour reset at home while maintaining safe driving and on-time deliveries. Drive a Class A tractor-trailer from Walmart distribution centers on assigned dedicated routes, typically two trips per day with backhauls to the DC. Deliver freight safely and on time to Walmart stores across California, Nevada (including Reno and Las Vegas), and Arizona. Operate late-model automatic sleeper tractors with dry van and refrigerated trailers, following company procedures and equipment guidelines. Work within a 24/7 operation, generally running close to a 70-hour work week and planning around a 34-hour home reset. Complete required logs, inspections, and documentation to maintain compliance with DOT, hours-of-service, and company safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report defects, and help ensure equipment is roadworthy. Secure and handle freight carefully to minimize damage and support accurate store deliveries.
