CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver

As a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver on the Family Dollar account, you haul multi-stop freight mainly across TX and nearby states using sleeper tractors and 53-ft dry trailers. You complete 2–3 loads per week with 2–6 stops each, unload freight using rollers, and average around 1,600 miles weekly. You follow FMCSA and company safety policies, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork while being home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Operate a Class A combination vehicle hauling freight on a dedicated Family Dollar lane across TX and nearby states. Complete 2–3 weekly loads with 2–6 stops each, meeting scheduled delivery times at stores or distribution points. Safely unload freight at customer locations using rollers, following proper material-handling practices. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting and assisting with breakdown or maintenance issues. Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies, including hours-of-service and safe driving standards. Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation for each stop and load. Communicate effectively with dispatch, store personnel, and support teams regarding load status and any delays. Protect company equipment and freight, including basic load securement and monitoring trailer conditions during trips.
