CDL Tank Vehicles Tests – Exam Mode

These Tank Vehicles tests are in Exam Mode. Retake all tests as needed. To prepare for the official CDL DMV exams, we recommend taking the following steps:
    1. Download your state CDL manual and open up it up in one tab of your browser. Read it over, but DON’T try to memorize it!
    2. In another tab, open up the first of our CDL practice tests in Classic Mode. See how well you do, but try not to stress out about any mistakes at this point.
    3. Quickly move into Practice Mode for more intense preparation.
    4. For more information, see How to Pass the Official State CDL Exams.
Take these same tests in any of our testing modes… Classic ModePractice ModeExam Mode A CDL Tank Vehicles Endorsement is required for certain commercial vehicles that transport liquids or gases. The liquid or gas does not have to be a hazardous material. A tank endorsement is only required if your vehicle needs a Class A or B CDL and you want to haul a liquid or liquid gas in a permanently mounted cargo tank rated at 119 gallons or more or a portable tank rated at 1,000 gallons or more.
