Over-the-Road CDL-A Truck Driver

PAM Transport is hiring OTR CDL-A Drivers to haul dry van freight across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. In this over-the-road role, you’ll operate late-model tractors, manage electronic logs, and ensure on-time, safe delivery of general commodities. Drivers maintain vehicle inspections, follow DOT and company safety policies, and communicate effectively with dispatch. Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on over-the-road dry van routes across multiple states and countries Ensure safe, compliant driving in accordance with DOT and company safety policies Complete accurate electronic logs and required trip documentation Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues Secure and protect freight to prevent damage and meet customer requirements Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status Plan routes, fuel stops, and rest breaks to meet HOS rules and on-time delivery goals Maintain professional conduct with customers, vendors, and the public Follow cross-border procedures and documentation for international shipments when required Participate in ongoing training and performance programs to support safety and career growth CDL-A license Over-the-road driving DOT regulations compliance Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Trip planning Load securement Vehicle inspection (pre/post trip) Defensive driving Cross-border freight procedures Time management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL-A license Clean driving record meeting DOT and company standards Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen Eligibility for cross-border travel (U.S./Mexico/Canada as required)
