As a Local CDL-A Truck Driver on a dedicated Anheuser-Busch account, you’ll haul preloaded, mostly no-touch freight within about 250 miles of the brewery and be home daily. You are responsible for safely operating an automatic 53-ft tractor-trailer, verifying that each load is legal and in good condition, strapping down pallets, and completing on-time pickups and deliveries using the AB app for load details. You’ll follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards while representing C.R. England to suppliers. Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on local routes within roughly 250 miles of the brewery, following all traffic laws and company safety policies. Pick up and deliver preloaded Anheuser-Busch freight on time, using the AB app to access load and pickup information. Verify each load is legal, properly documented, and in good condition before departure and upon delivery. Secure freight by strapping down pallets in the trailer to prevent shifting and damage in transit. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly. Maintain accurate electronic logs and required paperwork in compliance with DOT hours-of-service regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch, shipping and receiving staff, and suppliers regarding schedules and load issues. Manage daily schedule to ensure home-daily operations while meeting route and customer time requirements.
