Drivers are typically home weekly and must have a secure place to park the truck and trailer during home time. Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a solo, dedicated Target account with mostly overnight runs. Transport pre-loaded, no-touch freight from the Lake City, FL launch point to retail locations across multiple southeastern states. Follow trip plans and delivery schedules to complete on-time pickups and deliveries while home weekly. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment or safety issues. Adhere to all DOT, company, and safety regulations, including hours-of-service rules and accurate logkeeping. Communicate with dispatch and account managers regarding load status, routing issues, and parking arrangements. Securely park the truck and trailer at an approved location during home time.
