US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor, is seeking a CDL A Truck Delivery Driver to join our performance-driven team in the wholesale trade industry. In this field-based role, you will safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer to deliver fresh, frozen, and dry food products, as well as equipment and supplies, to restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality customers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying orders, maintaining DOT and food safety compliance, and providing exceptional customer service. You’ll work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment with opportunities for training, advancement, and contributing to customers’ success nationwide. Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer to deliver foodservice products to local customers Load, unload, and verify orders using liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and food handling standards Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location Complete delivery logs, DOT logs, and required electronic documentation Inspect vehicle before and after routes and report maintenance needs Coordinate with dispatch on route changes, delays, and delivery issues Maintain product quality and handle returns or shortages per procedure CDL A truck driving Route navigation and planning Load securement Use of pallet jacks and hand trucks Electronic logging devices (ELD) Time management Customer service DOT and FMCSA compliance Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Food safety and product handling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL A license with clean driving record Current DOT Medical Card Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations Experience with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates Ability to pass background check and drug screen
